Steck Park 06/23 evening

Took a friend from work that is new to fishing up to Steck for some cats. Not nearly as productive as it's been in the past. He had a bite within about 2 minutes of the bait hitting the water... then it took us about an hour to catch one. We had a ton of hit and runs all night (we fished from about 9pm-1am), it almost makes me think there were bass nibbling on the bait. However, once I used my big boy brain and used smaller chunks of bait, we had 3 in about a 45 minute span but had to leave since he had to be at work in the morning [:p]

The best part though, was having a guy that's never caught or seen a catfish outside of Cabelas tank, catch this big ol' pig.
