dose your state hold a world record for a fish species?
#2

Hi davetclown,

I'd copy my post from the saltwater board but somehow my machine can't do it. Anyway, California claims (to my knowledge) at least three world records for sport caught freshwater/brackish water species besides a number of saltwater species. 1) Sturgeon and 2) Redear sunfish and 3) Golden Trout. I'm thinking it's the White Sturgeon but not sure and the Golden Trout is NOT a strain but the pure-as-snow Little Kern River Golden Trout. ha ha

Feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken.
