I think it depends on the water you are gonna be fishing the most. I have an older 2 stroke that was rebuilt a few yrs ago and I love it. Its a 50hp jet motor because I like going in rivers and I think thats its actually an all around motor because I take it everywhere from big water to 1 ft deep, dont ask my wife the same question cause she wants me to trade my fishin boat for a pontoon!!! Ha ha
