All of the winds are beautiful, but the most beautiful places don't necessarily mean the best fishing because they receive a lot of pressure.
I have had great luck fishing out of the boulder lake trailhead, but fires have made it a less beautiful area.
In my opinion the elkheart trailhead is the most beautiful hike, but you have to get away from the people for the fishing to pick up. I have some great luck in lakes off the main trail, but they are really hard to get to and even a bit dangerous. If you wanted to make a nice five day loop you could go to island lake, over lester pass, around to cooks lakes and back to the trail head. You could even climb mout Fremont if you felt so inclined.
The Green River trailhead is very nice but the fishing spots are far and few between.
I don't know the BigSandy trail very well.
I have heard the best fishing is on the reservation side of the mountain but I have never fished it.
