I went out there last fall and you couldn't get to the water with a boat due to the mud. There was basically just a channel between the north end and the dam. We drove down a rough rough rough road to get to the dam. We ended up catching a couple hundred crappie in a couple hours. A lot of them were in the 12-15 inch range. We also caught a few of the biggest bluegills I have ever seen, almost as big as the crappie and twice as thick. Caught a few bass in around 10 inches or so.

Found tons of tackle in the rocks.
