I heard its good luck to feed a carp,yet its bad luck to hook one,even wost,eat one,its a sacred fish,I consider it magical.I like to call them magic carp.I killed one by weighing from gill,,I sharpend the hook on my scale and weigh them fro bottom lip now.Even so,I still hear their back cracking as I lift them.turtles had a feast,he left a huge oil streeks on the suface.would of kept him but did'nt want the attention,from neighbors.its a catch and release lake.28lb 3/4 pers.best.here is a pic of me comforting a carp before its release.seen one 5 feet long as a 10 year old.at same lake.
