[cool][#0000ff]Hey, you did very well on a first trip to a new water. Like you said, scoring a crappie within seconds of getting started...I thought you had it knocked. But the fish will always find a way to humble you when you start feeling too smug.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Not sure having a motor would have helped ALL that much today. I DID cover a lot of water and most of it was FISHLESS on my sonar screen. The fish I did see mostly had their little mouths closed and their middle fins held up on the screen.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]No doubt about it though. You can't catch them where they ain't and having power lets you look in more places in less time.[/#0000ff]
