Die off?
#4
Last fall the water was very low and I was afraid that there could be problems. We had some bitter cold in November. I believe Logan was -13 on Thanksgiving. There was a lot of dying vegetation in the water the last time I fished it too, which could lead to depletion of oxygen. I'm hoping that it's not the case.

I'm hoping that it's just the super high water coupled with the volatile weather keeping them deep and lethargic for the most part. The past two springs (which is as many as I've fished Weston) the fish started getting really active when the water was in the low 50s. Last time I was there the water was 58 with low 60s in the back of the bays. Still pretty dead. I really hope that we're worried about nothing and that the fish are just off, but I'm a little nervous. They already ruined Foster and Winder, I hope they don't take away our last refuge from the power squadron [mad] I guess only time will tell.
