This is what I have been using, all the line strengths and types can vary, hooks also. The main thing I like to use is the Mono leader, not because it harder to see, but it will help the fish swim. Mono is a bit more buoyant, some people say it floats but I haven't tested it in my sink yet lol.

I just been using my bigger setup with 30lb braid for live bait fishing from shore cause I snapped a line once. You might catch a monster.
