Kali and I fished Magic Res. today, starting at 9 AM and limited by noon. We put in at Hot Springs...res. is full, and new docks. We fished Jack Lloyd 2 blades with a wedding ring and 1" of n.c. Several doubles. Early on the fish tended to be recent planters, but around 11 the big guys started hitting. Pulled in with two boats who came in with no fish. One was pulling Rapalas, and the other was fishing gear similar to ours, but on top. Our fish came from 15 and 20 feet. They tended to be closer to the sides in the open section of the lake.
