Wow that sucks whizzle.. must've been pretty traumatizing for you, not to mention her. I actually quit fishing while the kids were younger so I never had to worry about that scene thankfully. That's one of the reasons I always seem to be looking for my tying stuff. It was in deep storage for about 4 years and I am still looking for a box of stuff.
BTW, I helped out the pta yesterday morning and it was such a pretty day I took off to Sand Hollow about 10am... figured I'd get a nice afternoon of fishing in. Well, just as I was going through St. George the check engine light comes on. I know myself and I know I would've been worried and thus not enjoyed fishing so I drove to the gate, paid the fee and checked out the lake. Half of the time I just like seeing new places so it wasn't a wasted trip. Man is that lake full brother... there were boats lined up to use the launches and most of the available shoreline was covered in people. I liked the bright hues of red coming off that rock.
Anyhow, of course I drove back without issue and I could've fished... but like I said the worry would've put a damper on my fishing. The truck is going in on Monday morning. I recently had all the fluids changed and it seemed like that had been the problem, but I am not messin' about any longer. Mechanic it is.
