[cool][#0000ff]I have long heard that the key to fame and fortune is to find a need and fill it. In float tubing a real boon would be an efficient method of moving forward rather than backward. Unfortunately, there are no real WORTHWHILE solutions yet.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Sure, there are contrivances that will allow you to move forward. But the ratio of energy expended to actual propulsion is dismal. You can give yourself a hernia and still move very slowly forward. Forget it if you really wanted to cover some distance.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Another thing is that the early models of forward propulsion fins relied on being used from a round tube...where legs extended downward. In today's V boats and others where you sit higher you cannot get the range of movement to properly operate them.[/#0000ff]
