I was at a similar spot a few years back and I ran down to the warehouse and picked up an Ocuma. It was cheap and worked well until I tied into a 33 inch steelhead and it landed the fish but I sort of burned up the drag. I still use Ocuma's on my backcountry stuff but I picked up a Ross for the big stuff...
