I used to have an old timer tell me that the fish are always biting at either Haymeadow or Cold Springs. He said it was easy to tell which one was hitting, cuz it had to be the one you weren't on

Glad you got into some of those guys. Little or not 20 fish is 20 fish. It is amazing how keyed into a food item trout can get. But that's a good thing, cuz once you figure out what it is..... it's on.
I'm glad you got into some trout, and if your buddy is anything like me, then I'll bet he had a good outing too.
I'll try'n head back up there soon before it gets too hot, maybe we can go together.
