If you are going all the way to Echo, Eagle Valley is only 10 miles up the road. You can take the road from Echo Canyon that will put you back on the road and about 2.5 miles to Eagle Valley. In fact, Rose Valley is beautiful country on that scenic drive.
NDOW stocked Eagle Valley with 13,000 trout about 3 weeks ago. I had planned on going to those areas this week but with upcoming bills, I didn't think I had the money for gas, camping and food. When I go that distance, I like camp for a few days to make it worth the gas.. But I have done it in one day if that's your plan. I'll even bring my fly rod and you can show me how to use it

But if I can share gas with someone, its doable. So I'd like to go with you if possible. I usually fish from a kayak, but shore fishing these areas is fine with me.
