Sunnyside tomorrow
#9
Hey gnelson651,

I am really happy with that tent cot so far. I have only used it once so I didn't wanna start talking too good 'bout it yet 'til I see how durable it is. No matter how much I liked it, if it doesn't hold up it's worthless.

That being said here's the particulars. I literally set it up in 5 mins. Another couple of mins and I was in bed. If I remember correctly, the weather said the overnight low was gonna be like 31 or 32. The wind was blowing like mad, yet I was comfortable as could be. I am 6', 210 lbs and was really surprised at the room I had. Best thing was it took me about the same time to pack it away. I think I spent a minute xtra making sure all the dust and dirt was off the legs, but that's it. The dome in the middle is nice, cuz you can sit up in it. Something you can't do in other tent cots I've seen. Also the cot itself is large, roomy and comfortable and has it's own foam pad integrated in it. I used an additional cot pad as well, but could've gotten away without it. It's heavy enough so that you won't be hiking far with it.

I bought it for one reason. I tend to go to bed late due to my profession. With this I can drive up at night, set up fast and get some decent sleep for the next day of fishing. I too was worried about the price, but I am quite sure this cot will pay for itself in time. I am sure it will save me hotel/cabin/koa fees at some point so then I'll recoup the cabbage.

Later,
