Great info, everyone. I should be able to post pics of my mods/setup in a week or two. Had a battery mount made now with slats and it is fairly lightweight. Set it up to lash it down and also made holes to attach the battery box with bolts. Fab guy did not work with diamond plate so thought I'd try this. He was a fishing nut so took extra time and had fun making the mount.

Show and tell fairly soon. I probably will live, learn and mod further but want to finish this so I can get on the water!
