looks to be good i have had luck with the g.m. reels and rods use the reel to land a 15 pound coho salomon 6 pound test. there that good even though there less expencive there still just as good as higher end reel / rods. then you do not have to worry if you dip your reel or loose your rod bass fishing off a pier or off a boat etc...
