One of the easiest ways to identify a Cutt from a Rainbow is to look at the spotting. A rainbow will have evenly distributed spots across the body. A Cutt will have a lot of spots near its tail and almost nothing near the head. Sometimes it is hard to find the slashes under the jaw unless you get the mouth wide open and sometimes they can be very light.

Just follow the old saying...When in doubt, throw it back out!
