i was there on wendsday by the dam where we have fished b4 last month
there is thin frozen layer on top that you break through to 10 inches of slush we know we was fishing the same spot because i broke through and found a augar hole that had melted open from 10 inches to about 25 almost went swimming was thankful from my wadders and some one to pull me out be careful and the ice over there under 10 inches of slush was only 5 inches if that we parked the snowmobiles on the bank and walk out to check the ice good thing fishing was not great in 4 hour we caught 25 or so 10 to 13 inch rainbows and a few slot cuts
