same cinch, uni , are best but it as lt depends on the type of salt fishing your doing weather fly fishing or or spin tackle etc... knots have there specific purposes kinda like a arbor jam knot you can use a uni knot some knot are similar or fire line to mono you can use double uni's and some crazy knots that i only use in fly fishing perfection loop knot. and some i learned in boy scouts like the hitch knots will be use in fly tying. but the easiest to tie is the cinch. most of all when tying on a lot of lures cause of losing them to snags in rivers. all the way to the uni is most needed cause of the usages like listed above. just becareful not to bite off salt mono at all with your teeth or you will look like me with a front cracked tooth use the clipers you bought.
