wow lots of walleye haters ! i have caught a few at sfcr nothing spectacular to them didn't fight particuarly well. not that difficult to catch. nothing spectacular...until you bread them and put them in the frying pan ! by far the best eating fish in the state ! i wish we had somewhere closer to fish for them around the treasure valley.
if we only have native fish from idaho, we would all be board stiff.........what are native ? steelhead, chinooks, sockeye, rainbows, brookies, dolly varden, suckers, squaw fish, whitefish...... AHHHH no warm water fish for me . i wouldn't even buy a liscence. i am in favor of introducing even more types of fish here. would love to have stripped bass, white bass, and others. just put them in places so they cant harm our native fish.......my 2 pennies[fishin]
