What length Minn Kota? Outcast IR10

I completely agree with your comment on the net. I already have a metal fabricator guy I know creating a steel deck that will sit on tiop of and lash to the frame so I can seat the battery on top and tie it down.

Will I ge ok with an open steel frame like this or should I top it with aluminum or plastic to avoid water splash?
