I do alot of Westslope cutthroat trout restoration work and bucket bios are my biggest worry. I'd like to catch a couple of them. A few years ago some DS dumped a bucket of rainbow trout into a couple of small ponds at the head of a genetically pure WCT drainage. Im still trying to stop the leak. This year we will have to poison 5 miles of stream to fix the issue and its likly that we have lost the genetically pure population that we had.
The nearest rainbow trout fishing is 30+ hwy miles from this drainage and then there is 9 miles of 4wheel driving to get to the ponds. Dont try and tell me people wont drive miles and miles to dump a bucket!
