I know nothing about Ririe Reservoir but from the descriptions. I can’t think of one reason you would want them in the system. Walleye in smaller reservoirs all follow the same boom and bust cycle. At first they will grow fast and then there will be lots of small walleye. If you have a river entering Ririe or wind swept gravel bars you will get reproduction. If you dont have prime perch spawning habitat you can probably say go bye to them. depending on the depth of Ririe you may see predation on the koks. If its got alot of depth they may be fine. the walleye will feed on the rough fish, but in reality they will feed most heavily on what whatever is most abundant or easiest to catch.
I strongly disagree with the comment about walleye improving the fisheries in MT. In no case have walleye that were illegally introduced improved any fishery. In fact there is strong evidence that the reverse occurs in cold water fisheries. Oh and Im basing my comments on 15 years as a cold water salmonid biologist.
