i'm with you on that one i embarrass my self when i use my fly rod in public lol i look like a darn fool most of the time, but its fun, i have only caught bluegill and crappie on a fly rod in the past, i have an 8wt 9 foot scientific angler 2 piece rod with a pflueger reel.
