yeah...exactly! throw a bunch of pellets in the fish hatchery pond just one day and expect the fish to grow and thrive forever after. That's exactly what you are recommending. Throw a bunch of perch in for the pike and walleye to eat and expect the reservoir suddenly to have enough food to feed all the mouths.
Also, FWIW, all that stuff I posted from the internet was from sources that know a heck of a lot more about fisheries biology and management than either you or I...the difference is that I am willing to listen to what the professionals have found time and time again in reservoirs across the US. You are not.
I have always believed that the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again and expect different results. Based on what has happened in numerous reservoirs and lakes throughout the country, it would be insane---for the UDWR to move some perch from Mill Meadow to Yuba in hopes of making any difference.
