Did you even read my post? Walleye are sterile?
---Walleye ain't any tougher to catch than wipers. Just gotta find 'em and give 'em what they want.------
Ummmm.... Isnt that any fish?
Tell me what would have been wrong with a simple proclamation change after the low water years (dike repair). Maybe 3 walleye none over 24"? Just untill they have a healthy population again? Whats wrong with that. How much would that cost? Not very much huh, just a little bit of ink? There is about a 2-3 year age class (walleye) missing in that lake right now and I think Its gonna get worse before it gets better. All those pretty 21 inchers bein caught, well wheres their 12" 14" 16" brothers at? Yeah theres a few, and I did catch a couple of 7-9" there last year, but not enough. With fragile lakes and dire conditions dealing with low water conditions I just think more simple yet effective changes could be made to help recovery of certine resevoirs.
