Maghunter, I'm a little lost. So please help me if you can. I looked at the google earth images and found the Anderson Canal that dumps into willow creek below the dam about 6.4 miles as the stream flows (3.2 as the crow flies). Is this the overflow channel you're talking about? I haven't been able to find anywhere else that water could get out of the reservoir without climbing the sides and then going across the fields. If this is what you are talking about then yes, that would be easier for them to get into the S. Fork. But they still have to get over at least 2 diversions to make it in the river, although it could possibly be done. If you're thinking about another spot I'm interested in knowing about it. I figure the more we know, the better prepared we are to deal with these fish.
