Prototype Flies

Hey BigE,

I used to tie bunches of articulated flies... specifically I tied one to imitate damselfly nymphs. After a couple of years of using them, I didn't find them any more productive than the fly I'd always used. It was much easier to tie so I went back to it.

Have you ever used any tube flies? Now that I am going for bass with the fly rod, I may have to give the articulated flies another chance, and probably gonna check out some tube flies as well. If ya don't mind throw up a pic of that articulated fly you tied. I may just tie a couple to have.

I am pretty sure that the first fly will catch fish IF the tail doesn't constantly foul on the hook. That is the prob I've always had trying to use long zonker strips. If it does then I have a second plan.
