Wow! Those are a lot bigger and more of them then I imagined. If we don't get them under control then the perch, will be doomed. I'm not a biologist, but it might actually help the smallmouth as they are way over populated as far as I can tell.
Do walleye target crayfish like the smallmouth do? If so that will limit their food source even more. On good water years like this the perch will do great, but too many predators and there won't be enought to go around.
I don't see the kokes being affected as they are eating plankton.
I'm not sure how the cutts will be effected as they seem to be bug eaters until they get to a certain size and then they switch to minnows.
