Shutting Powell down !!!

I hope it doesn't come to a government shutdown. There's been quite a few reports on other sites that last time this happened in '96 they actually increased the patrolling and kicked everyone out of the parks, even emptied out the motels as well as patrolling the lake and booting people off under the premise that they had the authority due to search and rescue being federal on Powell. Sounded like they were trying to just make a point that we can't do without the government. Unfortunately there's no place to launch that isn't well within a national park. Just think the same thing could happen to all the other waters in Utah. Every launch ramp is a state park. I'd never seen anything like this before moving to Utah. No public launch ramps or sportsman's access, everything inside a state park! Don't think for a minute that the same thing can't happen to state run "facilities"../
