any where in the snake below shoshone falls has them but here are holes where they seem to congregate. Below lower salmon falls dam in hagerman, alagator hole in buhl, thompson, cabin, jet, pump hole below bliss dam. below the dam at strike, below the dam at swan falls, and any of the holes below hells canyon all hold fish and i have caught fish at each of them.
as for bait it depends anywhere below strike crappie heads work good, blue gill heads too. a good old night crawler works well some days but my absolute favorite bait is pickeled herring that i get at winco or freddys and tie onto the hook with thread.
some time this summer we'll have to meet up and ill take you out. this goes for anyone im always looking for fishen buddies
