[cool]Finally got my license and decided to break it in. Went to Hemmenway after work friday to fish the beaches from shore. The wind was howling as I tossed swimbaits. After an hour I got my first fish.. a 2lb6oz striper on the slider. It's a great day. Another hour and another fish same size. Then 45 minutes later two fish within 5 minutes. Number three was same size as first two but number four was bigger at 5lbs11oz. Then 15 minutes go by and another fish at 2lbs 12oz on a bomber long A. Next hour another at 2lbs 12oz and then a 2lbs10oz and then a 2lbs 11oz striper. Now I am extremely happy with the results as it has been a month since fishing mead. Its getting late( i've been at it for 4.5 hours) so last cast and Bang!! Good hookup but it is fighting different. Then it jumps.Oh crap its a big LMB!! I get her in then perform CPR(catch,photograph,and release) and weighed her at 5lbs1oz. This completes two PBs for the day.Most bass solo on mead at 9 and biggest LMB. What a great day. All fish caught on the slider except for one striper on the bomber. Now time for fish tacos.
