Depending on how rough your roads are the screws holding your front bracing will work out, just because of the movement in the frame. I would suggest brackets with bolts to hold the bracing firmly. Infact I would recomend bolts or eye bolts on all joints. (I use eye bolts because then I have another anchor point for whatever)
If you do have the toon, because of deflation, sagging in between you carriers, you might consider a 1x4 between the 2 carriers, The toon bladder would sit on and prevent the sagging problem.
