Brownlee report & something you don't see everyday
#9
back in the olden days when there was waterin Indian Creek reservoir (near the Stage sop between Boise nand Mountain Home) there giagantor bluegills in there, largemouths, and crappie. It was a lot of fun to go out in a float tube and drop little black micro jigs down the holes in the weeds.

Anyway- it seemed like everytime I caught a largemouth, it would have a little black leech or two sucking on the top of its mouth. Guess they needed to learn to swallow harder or something.

I always wore thick neoprene waders in that water- I'm like humphrey Bogart in "African Queen" when it comes to leeches.
