Actually, the choppers that dropped those Christmas trees were from a rescue unit at Hill and I was a helicopter crew chief of that unit at the time. The maps of where the trees went was a closely held secret among the people involved in planting them. The unit was called Detachment 4, 40 Air Rescue & Recovery Squadron. This is the first time I've ever actually seen one of the maps!
