I prefer the thule rack over the yakima. I like how the thule attaches to the bar other than the yakima. I was having problems with the yakima getting it to tighten down right as well because of the way they are built. Thule may cost more but I think it is a better product. The factory rack was a pain in the butt when it came to tying stuff down. That is my experience with it.
