I also shoot the G5 Montecs. I personally love them with my 28" and 65 lb. draw. They fly exactly the way my field points do out to my last pin at 65 yards. The only downside has already been stated... it is a pain to get them sharp again. I have seen that there is actually a sharpening stone made for them, but I have never tried it. I turn each one I shoot into a practice tip, and just buy new ones. It is a bit pricey that way, but I like to know what I am flinging out there is razor sharp.
P.S. I am with everyone else on mechanicals, I just can't bring myself to trust them to work every time. I don't think I will every stray away from cut on contacts.... but that's just personal preference I guess.
