Salmon river

Just wanted to report on my recent trip. we fished for 6 hours and caught two fish. 25 and 31 inches fishing was really slow. we were bank fishing throwing shrimp/eggs with a corkie. my brother caught both fish with in ten min by the shoup bridge......Not the shoup bridge in the canyon past north fork but the shoup bridge 5 miles past salmon on the way to challis.

also i was just wanting to get a report and see how close dead water is to breaking out. if anyone can give any info please let me know... thanks.
