When fishing rivers, especially the south fork, dont be afraid to throw a spinner or other metal lure and move it super slow, like bounce off the bottom dead drift slow. The blade just flops around and kicks up dirt and moss. You'll lose some lures, but its more than those browns can resist. Also, when doing this, don't be afraid to throw stupidly big spinners especially in the fall it's crazy fun.
