Monstermasher and I hiked down that steep draw as well. The slush was freezing to the bottoms of our sleds, creating a brutal snowplow effect, so we didn't make it more than 100 yards or so once we got onto the water. Depth was about 18 ft. We fished from about 9-9:30 or so until about 4:00. We each caught 5-7 planter rainbows on paddlebugs tipped with a piece of crawler. When that got too slow too bear, we resorted to fishing for dink perch with an ice fly tipped with a small piece of crawler. That took some real skill as the bite was very quick and virtually undetectable. We caught 12-15 of those. Overall a bit of a disapointment.
