Yep, I was out there too. Had a great day! Joe and I had a hard time with our sleds getting trough the deep snow and slush. Went about 300 yard east of the beach area. We were in 20 feet of water and caught planter size bows from sunup till 2:00 PM. Lost count after 20. When I cleared the snow and slush away from the ice, water filled in the area, so inside my tent I had 3 inches of water! Funny when a trout got loose and swam around the inside. Was a kind of live well.
Unfortunately my boots were not completely water tight. So my feet got damp. Got to find some boots for the slush.
