I would go to CJ Strike Reservoir further west on the Snake River. Full of crappie, yellow perch, bass (smallmouth and largemouth), rainbow trout, channel catfish, suckers, bluegill sunfish, carp and white sturgeon.
Sturgeon are protected by law and need to know the regs on that fish if you hook one-can't remove it from the water and must release without being harmed. Goodluck fishing and thanks for protecting our country- I salute you!!!
