Michigan's annual Winter Free Fishing Weekend

Michigan's annual Winter Free Fishing Weekend will be held this Saturday February 19th and Sunday February 20th. No fishing license is required however all regulations still apply. Novice anglers are encouraged to take someone new out and introduce them to the sport of ice fishing. Warm temperatures may hamper ice conditions by the weekend, especially in the southern section of the Lower Peninsula. Use extreme caution when heading out on any ice this weekend.
