Thanks Iamthemf... I had read that post before but it was a nice refresher. I definately am not rigged for bait fishing. I got a couple of snelled hooks and some bullet weights... I am glad you mentioned the circle hooks, I had read about them before but have never used them. I definately need to get some and give them a try.
Looks like I might have Sunday off. If the weather will co-operate I may try'n take my son out again.
I'd like to go to Sunnyside, but I'm not sure any of the lakes will be open after the cold spell we're gonna have. I'll probably play it safe and go back to government wash though. I'd hate to drive 3hrs and not be able to get on the water. Also, my son is definately "hooked" on stripers. He wants to go fish for them again. It is really nice to see him excited 'bout a sport I truly love [
].
I have been using carolina rigs w/ live shad. One hook per rig. Think I should go to two hooks and try some other rig? My plan for the next trip is to use a circle hook(s) on a flourocarbon leader. Advice is appreciated...
Thanks again,
Mark
