When you fish the Cut'r Bugs vertical, pull the tail apart at the membrane that runs through the center of the tail. This will give you the double tail action.
if you want a leech pattern then rig on a jig head without the split tail.
These lures are also very effective in the open water.

If you want a good jig head that will hold the biggest trout when using a vertical presentation for Cut'r Bugs and other small plastics, try the new Vertigo heads.
