I'll definitely be spending some quality time on the water this year. I missed out this past year due to health problems but friends managed to catch some nice fish.

Granted the boat will give me an edge over the "bankies", but I spent alot of time shore fishing over the years with my boys when they were younger. We used to catch alot of perch and trout from the docks in various campgrounds and boat launch sites. Also caught many perch fishing from the dam. Shore/beach fishing opportunities are plentiful around the lake Crown Point has always been one of the focal points for perch, sm bass, and trout for both bank and boat fishers.
