Not sure how your route will take you but Pali
es will have some access right along the hiway to park and walk out and fish. At least 3-4 spots real close to the lake for ice fishing. Pretty easy and simple. Not sure about the ice but after this last week it should be good. Someone should know here though. I hear some say to take a plank to get past the edges but it has been real cold.
Places on Ririe are not far off the main path either between Palies and IF.
Chesterfield is off the main road a bit for sure.
Trout are in Palies and Chesterfield. Small Mouth and Perch with Trout in Ririe. Kokanee in Palies and Ririe.
I am sure someone will tell you current ice and good techniques.
Alexander is along that route also and has catfish, perch, trout and huge carp. Easy access there in a few places also,
