Of course the kid is going to lie, he knew he just got busted....... Your right the law is the law though and I'm sure he knew what he was doing was wrong. I don't want to go on a tirade about the legal system but I'd rather try and educate this kid than get him started in the "system" unless he has priors. Maybe he would change his ways maybe not but if he continues this activity F&G will catch up with him sooner or later. F&G knows this is a snagging zone and watch it like a hawk from the other side of the river up in the trees. Spring steelheading seems to bring out some of Idaho's and other states finest..........
